After reading a wide variety of blogs for the past year I’ve decided to take the plunge and start one of my own. A little bit about me…I’m a 23-year-old college graduate living in Philadelphia. I’ve been working in a melanoma lab at a cancer center for the past two years trying to characterize melanoma stem cells and generally enjoying life in the “real world”. I really enjoy living in Philadelphia – it’s a very manageable city with a lot to offer. I enjoy trying new recipes, new bars and new restaurants with new people! I look forward to sharing those adventures on here.
This blog will also document my journey as I begin my second-degree nursing program to get my BSN. Applying to second-degree programs was a bit of a frustrating process for me as it was difficult to find information about what the programs were really like. I am thrilled with my choice to enter Villanova’s BSNExpress program. This blog will serve to document that journey.
